A little about me July 14, 2012

I suppose I should first tell you a bit about myself and my family. I met my husband online when he was 13 and I was 15. He lived in Eastern Pennsylvania and I lived in Northwestern Washington 2,869 miles away. I knew I was going to marry him shortly after meeting him and before even meeting him in person! I compared every other guy I was interested in to him and they never measured up.  I blundered through High School after being home schooled most of my life and unexpectedly became pregnant with my oldest son when I was 18. I was talking to Sean at the time and couldn’t even remember how I had gotten pregnant, that story is for another later post though.  He supported me through the pregnancy and we began seriously talking about a relationship and him moving across the country so we could be together. I spent most of my son’s first year of life on the phone with Sean or texting him as much as possible updating him on the joys and trials of single parenthood. He saved his money and bought his plane ticket and packed his bags and arrived on Johnathon’s first birthday. We got engaged and he moved in shortly after that. Wedding planning was really fun and I loved our wedding on the first day of summer. It was beautiful and meaningful to both of us. Married life has gone pretty well and we have had our rough spots and days but it has worked out pretty well over all.  About 6 months after  we got married we found out we were expecting again. I was so happy to be expecting a baby with someone who loved me and wanted to be a father. When we were 6 months pregnant with Zephaniah we lost our home and found out that Sean was loosing his job in a month.  We moved in with family and that didn’t work out very well. We spent a month in a hotel right before and after Zephaniah was born. After that we had to move back in with family and it was down hill from there. My husband started school so we could have money to move since he had been unable to find work. Once we moved everyone started feeling better about things. A few months after we moved we found we were pregnant again (surprise!) and I am due to deliver some time in December!
That is the short story of my life. 🙂 Not super interesting but it’s a start.
